One Year Shots!

We had to postpone Parker's original appointment for one year shots because of his fever and stuff, so we went back yesterday and finally had it done! We weighed him again for fun and now he weighs 26 pounds, 6 ounces, which is up a pound from 2 weeks ago. He didn't mind the shots, but he HATED waiting in the doctor's office. He's usually pretty cool and doesn't freak out, but it was really hot and uncomfortable, and I wouldn't let him touch all of the doctor things all over the room so he was kind of frustrated. And then when he finally got to have his shots, the nurses asked me to give him a big bear hug and contain his arms (I guess so he doesn't swipe at the needles) and he didn't like that at all, either. Once we got outside, though, he was fine and he read his books in the car all the way home with a big smile. Hopefully he doesn't have any side effects from the shots, but the doctor said he could develop some cold-like symptoms in the next week. I have a few new photos but I've been too lazy to actually copy them from my memory cards and upload them! Maybe later on tonight...
