Parker Vs. Bananas and Grass

Now that Parker has teeth, we let him bite things himself! Here he is eating a banana. Yesterday we had some roast chicken for lunch and he looooved it.

As I mentioned earlier, Parker is repulsed by grass. He just doesn't get it. It feels weird and it seems to confuse him a bit. So my master plan was to stand him up on the lawn, hoping he would stay standing for fear of touching any part of the lawn with skin other than his feet. Unfortunately it didn't work out that way, and I think he actually got pretty comfortable on the lawn. Here are some photos of Parker hanging out on a nice spring day (in his jammies, no less).

I was just showing Parker's photos off to my staff and they all said: Where does he get his red hair from??? Of course, what can abuelita say? I have no idea!
He gets more beautiful with each passing day. Can't wait to see him again. Please give him kisses and hugs for me.

Andrea: Haha! Thanks! Maybe we'll dress him in real clothes by the time he's old enough to go to school.

Abuelita: We think he gets the red hair from my grandpa on my dad's side! Now if we can just figure out where the green eyes come from....

I love the pics in the grass! Wow, his hair is getting so thick and long (atleast on top!)...pretty soon he'll be needing a hair cut!
